The church is a group of people who have been saved by Jesus. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again from the dead. His perfect righteousness is a gift to those who repent and believe in him. We are not a perfect people - we are a forgiven people. Out of our gratitude to God for salvation, we worship Jesus together, grow together in our knowledge of him, and serve together so that others might have forgiveness as well.
