Pastor Update: Our Community and the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Dear Church Family,

As the church of Jesus Christ at 11th Street Baptist, we are compelled to take seriously the commands to gather together (Hebrews 10:25), to respect our authorities (Titus 3:1), and to care for those most vulnerable to this virus around us. Please watch the following video, I will share with you our plan to navigate these commands at 11th Street Baptist Church.

In short, if you are in an at-risk category or if you have regular contact with someone in an at-risk category (the elderly and those with preexisting health conditions), then we strongly advise you to stay home. If you are healthy and able to attend, we hope that you will gather with us to worship God as we take extra precautions.

I would also highly recommend that you read the following about how a church has grown amid coronavirus in East Asia. This is an opportunity to enrich the reputation of our great God. Let’s embrace this opportunity for God’s glory and our joy.
